Pocket-sized green guide available

A guide to the green labels and logos on products in shops, published by Defra, includes details about both the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) schemes in its timber products section.

The pocket-sized guide shows the environmental labels shoppers are most likely to come across - and explains what they mean.

'A Shopper's Guide to Green Labels' is a fold-out credit card-sized leaflet that explains the meaning of the green labels and logos commonly found on products, first published in April 2003 for Defra, and completely updated in December 2005.
