Nottingham Travel Inn

Travel Inn, Nottingham

This 160 bedroom 6-storey hotel was a 'supply and erect' project undertaken by Stewart Milne Timber Systems in conjunction with Totty Construction.

The 'Fastrack solution' incorporated into the project meant that the building was structurally complete in 10 weeks. The City-Centre Travel Inn in Nottingham is situated close to the heart of Nottingham.

The overall project was completed in 26 weeks when the first guests registered - the main structure being completed in only 10 weeks, using 5 site operatives and a supervisor.

The average construction time using conventional methods for such a project would be expected to be in the region of 52+ weeks, and would use a larger number of site operatives.
